He Winked at Me

Bowie is our white cat. Sometimes, I think he is a person trapped in a cat's body. We have a tree made of gold-colored wire. He is obsessed with it and we often have to tell him to leave it alone.
I have to get up and shoo him away from it. The other day, he looked at me and winked. I said you are playing a game, aren't you? He looked at me and winked again. Annoying us is his way of having fun.
Does your cat do anything unusual? Please tell us what your kitty does to have fun or if he plays mind games with you.

All cats play mind games... That's just their nature.
I hope you're enjoying your day.

We always had cats and dogs on the farm but I haven't had pets except my fishies since then. Thanks. I am enjoying my day.

@DaddyEvil Do your fish ever do something naughty and then wink at you? Can you message me and tell me what I need to do to get my cat photo here? All this import and export stuff is so confusing. I almost ended up dumping all my drive.

I love Bowie and I've never met him. Your descriptions bring back my Sonny James. He loved the track toy that I found at a garage sale. It was round and had a ball that zipped around the track if the kitty smacked the ball. I played what I called Kitty Chess with Sonny. I would make the ball roll. Sonny would watch me then he'd smack the ball. When he quit and the ball started to slow, I'd make it go. He'd respond and the game continued for a good five minutes. Sonny James was a very unusual boy.

@akalinus I am still not over this- sweet Sonny James grew old, developed cancer and last year walked into Kitty Valhalla. I miss him so. I'd come inside the house, even from just gardening, and Sonny James would roll over and show me his big fluffy belly. He was so delighted that I'd returned.

I had a cat that climbed our Christmas tree, tipped it over and gutted an apple pie on the counter! His name was Poo-Poo Kitty and nothing passed his eye, that he didn't investigate:)

@kobesbuddy Cats do not understand that they can't climb trees in the house. What did that pie do to him?

I wrote a discussion this morning about his sliding and jiggling his food bowl to get to his preferred pieces. He isn't too fun loving, but he does have a toy he really likes.

Our little cat loved to play games with us. It certainly sounds as though Bowie enjoys teasing you

We always had dogs. We had a dog that wanted his toys on the floor. He would tip the toy box, looking at us the whole time (after we already told him "no"). We'd put all the toys back in; and he's do it again, slowly, watching us the whole time. We loved that dog so much. Enjoy your day.
