But it was worth it. I confess that I gave in again to my favorite chocolate cake. As usual, I try to convince myself that it was fine to buy it. My best reason was that, as I did not spend too much money of fruit at this time of the year, I could spend that amount to eat cake as dessert instead. There was ham on sale (my favorite and almost half the usual price. So I bought a big amount and I also bought cheese. I´ll make quiche Lorraine tomorrow. Anita and Mario are coming. They will be happy and so will I. I left out from my virtual cart smoked bratwurst and red cabbage. I was going to make my granddad´s favorite dish but quiche Lorraine won with the price of the ham. I also decided not to buy chicken (I ate a lot at Dixie´s) so the cake was almost paid for. Today I ate a cheese and ham sandwich and a big piece of cake. Now I´m off for my nap.
