Question: Do you like to improvise when cooking? / myLot

Since I started exploring the cooking department, I must say that I am improvising the ingredients when cooking some meals in the house. It means there will be no leftovers.I think it is a good way to indulge oneself in cooking. I'm sure some of you can do this. Correct me if I am wrong with this claim. I like to keep it simple and rarely use spices.

I also do the same thing. There is no need to make a particular experimented meal extravagant in cooking it.

I usually cook whatever sounds good at the time. If I don't have all the ingredients for something, then I just add a little of this and a little of that and see how it turns out.

This is what I like in doing the cooking experiment in the kitchen department. I just also wished to learn how to cook that well since I was a young adult.

I don’t think I experiment too much, but occasionally I’ll try a different spice; usually just a tad so I won’t ruin it if I don’t like the addition I’ve made.

I am also a bit careful in using some spices. I need to see if the combination of them would come out the right taste. As much as possible, I don't want to waste food.
