There are two major ways to dry our wet or washed clothes and we prefer to dry these in the Washing machine and then put these on the clothesline for some time to dry properly and if it's sunny then we don't dry them in the washing machine and just put these on the clothesline and let it dry in the sun. @butterfingers I love putting on a shirt that has been dried outside in the fresh air. And getting into bed between sheets dried outside is a pleasure. I have lavender plants growing near my washing line and the clothes often soak in the fragrance of lavender.

I always dry my clothes in a dryer after I have washed them. I don’t have a washer or dryer at my apartment, so my dad lets me use the one at his house. My allergies are too bad to put my clothes outside to dry, and it takes time I don’t have. Plus, the dryer gets all of the wrinkles out of my clothes. I understand why some people prefer to use a clothesline, but it just isn’t feasible for me.

@Butterfingers I admire the people who use the clothesline for environmental reasons.

Yes we need to be careful about the clothes as some of these do get wrinkled up in the dryer

We normally just dry it under the sun because we don't have a washing machine. I also feel like the sun dries it better compared to a machine.

@Butterfingers luckily I don't come from a country that has winters but we do have rainy season or cold weather times. We just survive without the drying machine. As long as you have alot of clothes it won't be difficult during such cold times.

I put the clothes out on the clothes line to dry. It doesn't cost anything and in the summer like this week at 36 degrees Celcius it drys very fast.

Yes it does help in summers as clothes take lesser time to dry in the sun

@Butterfingers But I don't like where the clothesline is. There is a ledge underneath it and if the clothes drop down they get very dirty: the pigeons like sitting on the ledge. . . I have to bring the clothes up from the ledge. They are disgusting after the birds do their thing on them. . .

I have a clothes rack in the back room, under a ceiling fan. That’s where I dry my clothes. I don’t own a dryer (the appliance).
