Today's trip to the little Tesco.

I went to the little Tesco again this morning. I checked my weather app and it said 48% chance of rain, so I put my coat in the trolley just in case but did not put it on. My Mum had a birthday card for me to post, so I went to the post box first to post that. Then when I got to the shop, I got the 2 TV magazines as usual, then I got my step-dad's bounty bar and a packet of ginger nut biscuits for me. I then got 3 bananas, strawberries and red grapes. I wanted to get myself some sugar free Alpen cereal but it was out of stock. There was plenty of the red boxes but none of the blue! Then I got some egg custard tarts for my Mum and step-dad, and 2 bottles of milk. I went and paid and it came to £12.26 I came home, unpacked the groceries and put them away. I saw next doors dog Willow on our lawn. I was thinking, aw, lovely, little Willow's on our lawn, but then she started crouching down! I said, "Mum I think she's pooing! She's pooing on our lawn!" I tapped on the window to get her to go but she just looked at me as if to say, What do you want? So I got the key and went out. I said to her, "What are you doing on our lawn?" She looked at me and then moved off. Then her owner Joan came out and said, "Oh, that's where she is? I left the door open when we got home and presumed she'd just follow me in!" I said, "She's just pooed on our lawn!" It's massive! (I've included a picture, above.) Anyway Willow went in her house and I went in mine. And the poo is still there on our lawn. We'd only just had it mowed this morning as well! The workmen next door are making a lot of noise again! Anyway, what have you lot been getting up to? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Your neighbor is rude, she had to get a small bag and come out and collect the poo of her dog.

Yes, I agree with you. She should have. But then she is 90 and has got mobility issues.

@LadyDuck Yes, but she's quite sprightly with it. You'd never guess that she's 90.

I'm sorry the dog pooed on your lawn. Your neighbor should have gotten a small plastic bag and picked it up.

@sharonelton You're welcome. I certainly don't. A guy let his dog poo on my lawn several years ago. I made him pick it up. It's against the law here to leave dog poo on somebody's yard. I told the guy I'd call the cops if he didn't pick it up.

Thank you very much. It was actually rather funny, but you don't want mucky dog poo on your lawn, do you?

That was very rude of your neighbor not to pick up the dog poo, I’m sorry.

Willow's owner should have picked up the poo. That's not very nice behaviour.

@sharonelton It's pretty easy to pick up once it's dry. One place where we were house-sitting had tongs hanging in a tree and those were used to pick up the poo.

@JudyEv Oh, wow! That's a good idea. We've got some tongs, but if we used them to pick up the poo we'd never be able to use it for food ever again!

I know, I thought so too. Mum says she's going to let it dry out, then she might go pick it up! With a food bag I presume!

I'm surprised Joan didn't clean up her dog's mess. Tomorrow Four Walls is coming to visit me. So exciting. Enjoy your day.

@LindaOHio My pleasure. Oh, yes. And she's good with it. She still likes walking the dog. She takes her trolley with her when she walks the dog, to help with her balance.

I'm sorry you have a bad neighbor. She should have picked it up. It's not very nice of her since you just mow the lawn as well.

@sharonelton Oh I see. I'm sorry I didn't know but she should have picked up the poo. I'm sorry you had to face this just after you finished mowing the lawn.

Sunday I got some more strawberries. We didn't get a watermelon. We might this coming Sunday. I got some new socks too. I wanted to throw away some more socks that have gotten too thin. Today I need to throw away some sandals that are looking too worn.

I'm glad you got what you wanted. You should take the items you don't want to a recycling centre, or if they're still good you could take them to a charity shop.
