Might Have Supper at Ponderosa Steak House

Nope, we never get steak when Jay and I stop at Ponderosa Steak House for dinner. We always get the senior buffet, which amounts to $20. And this includes a drink and a dessert bar.
Not bad for two old fogies, who lost their way! (Not really). We are happy campers, in spite of all the issues that Satan throws our way. Which makes us perfectly normal, if there is a such thing:)
Anyway, Jay's ready to take off so I'm out of here! Talk to ya later on this evening. xo

We didn't have steak, the senior buffet. It has a wide variety of choices, a salad bar, desserts and a drink is included. Steak isn't on the buffet.

We had the senior buffet, it was very good:) They always have chicken, fried fish and today there was barbecued beef.

That restaurant sounds like the restaurant we had in town for years called Quincy's. It was a steak house with a great hot bar and salad bar. Most people would get the hot bar. But, sadly after 40 or more years, it closed here.

My daughter's family took us to the Country Kitchen, in North Carolina. It was similar, with the hot bar, salad bar and desserts. The food was amazing!

I can only think of one single Ponderosa that is still open, it's in southern IL. in a small-ish town, Vandalia. There used to be a lot of them around here, but all are gone except that one, I think. But I am glad you got to go out, Kharla.

We only know of one Ponderosa, this one that's located in Bay City. All the other ones here, are closed.
