Ferry officers save a kitten who fell into the water in Washington state

Thanks to the actions of the employees at the Clinton Ferry Terminal near Whidbey Island a make kitten who had been seen in a wingwall after a ferry named Tokitate left the area, the kitten fell into the water who could have ended the life of the kitten. A Kitsap crew member put on a life jacket and with the use of a rescue boat went into the water and rescued the kitten clinging on an offshore piling. The crew member did rescue the kitten and placed him inside of the rescue boat before the kitten to the South Whidbey Animal Clinic where the employees in the clinic called the kitten Bosun which is the ranking officer of the rescue crew. The kitten is about four months of age and will be staying at the animal shelter where members of the rescue crew want to adopt the kitten. Link is seattletimes.com/life/pets/the-... via @seattletimes
