With radiation, that is. Finished my last treatment on Friday...a red sunburned look, but it will go away.
That night Dale and I went to a seafood restaurant we've been wanting to try. I had bang bang shrimp with sweet potato waffle fries. Very yummy.
We went to Richmond VA on Wednesday for my cousin's visitation, then the funeral on Thursday. It was a nice service..she had such loving siblings who took wonderful care of her in the nursing home for five years.
I had my second Shingles immunization today. So far just a sore arm.

I'm glad you've finally finished your radiation treatments! And, hopefully, a sore arm is all you'll get from the second shingles shot. (I had a slight fever with both shots.)

@1creekgirl I'm sure you will. And it's worth a little pain now. I've had shingles three times and didn't want to have it again! It was miserable...

@DaddyEvil I had it over one eye even though I'd had the old vaccine. My doctor today said shingles might be worse if I got it because I'm immune compromised.

It's great to be finished with treatments. I get a six month mammogram next week. I'm trusting God for a good report.

I'm so glad you're done with your radiation treatments. I'm sorry about your cousin. I'm glad she was well taken care of. Good that you got your second Shingles shot. Shingles is absolutely awful. Enjoy your day.
