Uh, oh. It leaked

Over the years Bob has had different products he demonstrated and tried to sell. He put a container/kit on my wooden desk some time back. I guess some of the lids were loose. I have decided I have too much furniture and was wanting to move my computer to that desk because it is much more aesthetically pleasing than this metal and glass computer desk. I would sell that one. Anyway, I picked up the stuff and there was cardboard all stuck to the leather top of my wooden desk. Bob said "I will take care of it", but it did not seem urgent to him, I did it. I used a multipurpose cleaner to slowly soak and remove that adhered paper and cardboard. Wiped it really well. The color was coming up out of the leather. So I now have applied saddle soap per Bob's instructions, and I will buff it a little later. I am a bit frustrated. Bob is napping.
