So, being very conservative about how much I drive, I am staying home today.
I am not getting my new license.
But there is a reason.
I really want a covid booster before school starts, cause you know, kids, germs, family travels, etc.
I caught covid at back to school time last year. Would prefer not to this year.
County health is all booked up until Friday. Same town as the place I renew my license. I am saving a trip and doing them both the same day.
So here I am home alone.
Bob is at the library for another hour.
I did just order another computer with my free Amazon money. You know there is a reason I do all those surveys and such.
I have some other "free shopping" to do. So I guess I will.

I feel that the covid boosters are necessary spring and fall to help us stay healthy.
I have a doctor's appointment this month, and I plan on asking him if I can take Licorice Root supplements as they are supposed to help with fluid in the lungs, and I do not want pnemonia again.
Have you used Licorice Root before at all?

No, I have not, but will need to research it. I know it interacts with either blood pressure medicine or cholesterol meds. I hope it is helpful for you and it is good to check it out with your doctor.

@GardenGerty I am going to read a little more about it tonight again. It is good to check as many sources as possible.

Doing your driving like this probably saves on gas and stress too.

It does. Not that the drive is bad. It is hiway but rural, very little traffic. It saves on personal energy though and time spent going back and forth.

Free shopping is sometimes the most fun kind.
You've reminded me that I should get another booster soon.

I have only had the one booster, so I think it is about time.

@GardenGerty After the initial round of vaccines, I've only had one booster so far. I should probably schedule a flu shot too.

I am sure I will as this laptop does not have much memory.

I hope it does me some good. Of course we really will not know. I know Bob and I both tested positive at the end of August, and then he did again in October, but I was not tested then.

@GardenGerty - We avoided to see friends during the worst Covid moments. My husband cannot be vaccinated, so we were very careful. We did not get Covid.

I participate in several sites. Sometimes it is boring and sometimes frustrating. However this summer extra Amazon and PayPal have been handy. I had one regular site drop me about two years ago.

Good girl for getting the booster. We have been really remiss is getting our 2nd COVID-19 booster. We didn't even get our flu shot last year. We need to get up and get out and get these things done. My doctor recommends waiting until around Halloween to get the flu shot. Enjoy your day.
