Nope, not reindeer, but a person tarping the leaky area. Today I had the insurance adjuster out and while he was here I called the roofer and said to get it tarped. Roofer wanted the adjuster to see it first. Adjuster said he should have just tarped it. Everything is so computerized now, my adjuster filed my claim and got my first portion of my settlement done. I have been online, created an account, and now will have money in my bank. I have two years to get the work done, he said. Well it will not take that long. And if the state grant people pay for it, that money in the bank will go for other improvements. I still have an appointment or two to go to today. Wish me luck.

It sounds like it is working out well right now, thank goodness. All this roof drama is enough for quite awhile!

I hope that it is tarped now and soon will be repaired fully.

It's great that the adjuster filed your claim and your first settlement portion is done. Getting a start on the roof must make for a happy day. Hope the rest of your day goes well
