Good morning from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Do you know the ditty, rain, rain, go away, come again another day? That's not the ditty we've been singing this summer. We've been desperate for rain. We've been in a drought since last winter. Today, we're getting rain all day until early tomorrow morning. They're predicting about an inch for Green Bay.
Sunday was a good day. I changed things up a little and watched my shows, followed by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I then thought that since Maggie Smith is in it, I would watch another Maggie Smith movie. I had Hook in mind but couldn't find it on my shelves. I know it's there. So, I settled for Downton Abbey. It was a good day.
I used my new food processor yesterday. What ease! It made food preparation easy and quick. I'll be using it a lot.
As for my plans for today: I have an exercise group in half an hour, then I'll be back here to catch up on the weekend notifications and work on Destination Love.
I love the sound of rain. We're in the 60s F today, much cooler than the last couple of weeks. I'm not closing my patio door.

We're still in a flood watch even though it stopped raining before 6 am today. Our temp is at 75F, which is also much nicer than the 90F - over 100F we've been seeing for weeks now. We're supposed to have decent temps for several days.
I'm glad you're getting rain and hope it's enough to help bring your area closer to "normal" without causing floods.

@just4him I'm glad you may be seeing the end of the drought.
As long as there's no additional rain, everything here will go back to "normal" pretty quickly. I can already see a difference in the depth of the water in the culvert at the end of our yard.
We'll only get a few days of the cooler temps before they start creeping back up again.

They've been getting a lot of rain south of Green Bay. Several counties are on flood watch. The amount we're getting from Green Bay south should get us out of the drought situation we've been in since winter. At least that's the plan if Mother Nature cooperates. It hasn't stopped raining since it started, so that's a good thing. It's 63 F here. A far cry from the 80s we've seen the last couple of weeks. It won't last, though. Once the rain heads out, we'll be back in the 70s and 80s by the end of the week.

Nice to have a food processor. We used to but had all these attachments and extra do-dads. It just became too much..
I like the sound of rain too. Wish I was hearing it and some thunder right about now.

Glad you are getting some much needed rain today. We may get a pop up afternoon thunderstorm. Highs in the upper 8os to low 90s, lows in the mid to low 70s. I'm ready for cool crisp autumn days and nights.
A friend and I went to a local fruit produce place and bought some local grown peaches. Stopped at the market on the way home to get a few things. And by Mike's mom to give her some peaches. Have a blessed day.

Glad you have the rain. The weekend depressed me, as I was unable to make progress on the car. August just isn't going right and I am less than thrilled.
