Thanks to someone who saw an owl that was trapped in a soccer goal net in Ross Township Pennsylvania on Monday who altered 911 to send help to rescue the owl who needed help to get free, a Ross Township police officer named Al Elway was credited with used his life saving skills to get the owl from the trap.
The incident took place on Monday even though where the incident took place was not released to the public.
The mystery is how long was the owl stuck in the soccer net and how the owl wound up in the soccer net was not released by the police.

That is true since law enforcement officers do their best to save animals in trouble.

Our winged friends need to stay out of nets.

I am sure that the owl is free not to be trapped in a soccer net.

I just hope the owl hadn't been mistaken for a football and ended up in the net in the same manner footballs do.
I did once rescue a young magpie that had become tangled in some string and was hanging upside down from a tree branch about 20 feet in the air. After balancing on a ladder and carefully cutting away the string all the thanks I got was a rather painful peck on the arm!!!

That is true since the talons of the owl were caught in the net which made it hard for the police officer.
