This news story that comes from Sayreville New Jersey is kind of odd since most of the time in the Lake Charles area when my area suffers a blackout from damage to the electrical transformer, it is usually because an auto accident happened or a severe thunderstorm hit the electrical transformer which causes a brief blackout. The city of Sayreville New Jersey went through a blackout on Saturday of last week when a fish that was dropped by a flying bird who dropped the dead fish that landed on the electrical transformer. Power was restored a few hours later in the day. I have shared odd stories on this site about squirrels knocking out electrical power by entering electrical transformers. The dead fish story is a very odd. Link is upi.com/4421692203527 via @upi

@Deepizzaguy There use to be a tv show that had unusual stories. That would have been one of them.

@ramapo17 That is true since I believe the show was called "Ripley's Believe It Or Not."
