Why do you want to stop drinking coffee? Up to 3 cups a day it's a great drink. Coffee is naturally one of the richest sources of antioxidants.

Because coffee tastes nasty?

@DaddyEvil I fully agree with you, instant coffee has muddy water and it has a weird smell also.

@LadyDuck Drip coffee is how mom made it when I was growing up. She didn't get a coffee maker until I was around 18 years old. Drip coffee is what all of us drank after we were teenagers. I never could enjoy instant coffee. That tasted like muddy water to me.

If coffee helps you to wake up and you end up feeling tired without coffee, why do you want to stop drinking it?

Lemon Juice, I know it's hard but you'll get a lot of health benefits from it and it will kick start your day.

You could try a soda with a high caffeine content and see if that works for you. There are also "morning" teas with a higher caffeine content. Or, you could drink plain water and take a couple of caffeine tablets.

@evilamericans I love Mtn Dew Code Red but I can only have one of those every few days because of the sugar content.

Enjoy your coffee. Why quit?

Apart from tea I can't think what else to suggest. Maybe hot chocolate?

As long as you aren’t pouring copious amounts of sugar in your coffee, there is nothing wrong with drinking coffee. Are you trying to cut down on caffeine or something? Not drinking caffeine when your body is used to it will certainly give you a caffeine withdrawal headache.

Maybe just limit your coffee intake? I tried to wean myself off of coffee once because I don't like crashing. It also gave me headaches. So now I limit myself to a cup or two a day, no sugar, just cream. Sometimes I would use Stevia to sweeten it up. No more headaches.

It seems that you have developed a dependence on coffee.

I don't understand the question. Stop drinking coffee. I'm sorry, I cannot comprehend such a thing. That's like saying you'd prefer less oxygen in your air.

Why do you need to stop drinking coffee? A black or brewed coffee is good.

I couldn't stop drinking my morning coffee, or I'd probably end up strangling someone
