Today´s Plan B. / myLot

I filled my suitcase, took a shower and washed and dried my hair. All in a hurry, all in the morning, being very angry at myself for not getting ready before. When I had everything in bags, including leftovers, I started to wait. I waited while my feet got colder than ice. I had turned off the heater. I first opened the suitcase and took out my laptop. I made a post. At 2PM I was hungry. Ansd I tried to reach Dixie. After a while she answered and told me that she had some problems. She´d come for me at around 7 PM. Leftovers are a girl´s best friends. They are berrer than diamonds. I had put in a bag the mayo I made yesterday. And I had some leftover rice there too. I opened one of the mussel´s cans I had bought and while I did all this I got out of the suitcase the rice heater. I mixed all in the biggest Tupperware, got the heated pad and came here to mylot. I´ll fill the suitcase again at around 6 pm. I have time even for a nap. Shall I say good night now?

What a shame you turned the heater off. It's supposed to be spring here but the evenings are still chilly.

I was supposed to be away at noon. Anyway, when Dixie told me that she´d come in the evening, I immediatly turned the heater on and got into my bed dressed and all.

There were several leftovers I ate at my home while waiting for her. I even had one last piece of cake I had placed in a Tupperware.

I am Team Leftovers! And if you have the "right" ones, they taste even better after a day. For example, for me, spaghetti tastes better after a day. Probably because all those flavors and spices in the sauce has seeped through the individual strands of noodles. All I need to do is heat it up and topped it with grated parmesan and bam!
