Airplanes Flying Overhead

It’s much cooler here today. I went out early for a walk and didn’t break a sweat. Dobbins airplanes have been flying over all morning so low they seem to almost touch the tree tops. They are either testing airplanes or pilots are getting in their practice. It’s a little scary having them fly so low overhead. What is everyone in mylot land doing today? Whatever it is I hope you have a joyful day. I’ll see you later if nothing breaks bigger than a frog hair.

Shortly after Hurricane Idalia hit our area, I kept hearing military jets and helicopters flying low overhead by my house (I’m on the flight path for planes landing and taking off from our airport). I found out later it was because President Biden flew in to our airport on Air Force One.

Here in our country we feel trains sound so close to our apartments We have Airport in MEENAMBAKKAM I think people near that area feels the plane's flyover & it's sound Have a good day

@writerjo I don’t live near a railroad so I don’t hear trains. I do live near a busy highway so I hear traffic. We have planes flying over but usually not as low. Good day to you.

I am enjoying the cooler weather. I don’t really mind planes flying over, my apartment complex is under their route. It does make a lot of noise when they fly most of the day but that doesn’t happen often.

@RubyHawk - I often see the drones of the Customs Police flying here in the sky. They check to be sure no illegal immigrants come inside from the forest.

We have helicopters fly over too, but not near as often as airplanes. Airplane look so big, it’s a little scary. There was a plane that crashed several miles away but that was years ago.

Sometimes we get jets that do fly overs over the nuclear plant that are very loud and low to the ground. It can be startling.

It can be, but I should be used to it. Dobbins Air Force Base just a few miles away. They don’t always fly low over the complex but often they do.

It has finally gotten cooler here too. Oh wow, those planes sounds like they're in flight so low. I know that feeling . . . we are near a hospital, so the helicopters fly down too low for my comfort. This past month has been nuts . . . but hopefully it stays more normal from here on out!!

I spent the day indoors watching and hearing rain all day. It rained here every day this week. They said NYC had flood issues and was declared a state of emergency. I'd like to post you a picture, but until My Lot decides to fix the uploading issues, as they say... it is what it is...

We’re near Dobbins Air Force Base.I suppose they’re testing planes or training pilots.

That is scary when the planes fly low like that. We had helicopters that do that every six months or so. They are monitoring the trees close by the high power lines. They mark trees that need to be cut back or down. Last year they removed 3 trees from our property.

Helicopters do the same here. I see them flying over occasionally. Here in this complex the electric lines are underground but along the road there are electric and telephone poles.
