Yay!! Weekend begins.

Happy Friday from this side of the planet. It is 11:30 AM as I write this post. It's bright sunny day here with pleasant breeze. I enjoyed my walk to and fro from my school..Yes, I am back from work
and weekend begins. I love Friday because it is a short working day for me. 
I have my afternoon therapy sessions from 4_6 today. So, I have around 4 hours at hand before that with nothing much to do. So, I will be online for most of this time
Today I plan to do some spellings through hopping game in my remedial classes for the afternoon and some fun bean bag games. I try to keep one class only full of fun in the week.
My phone is almost discharged. I don't want to log in in my laptop till I am done cooking lunch and clearing up the kitchen. So, I will be putting the phone to charge and enter the kitchen for making lunch. Since, all the preparations are done. It should just take some time. Till then my phone should also get charged.

Thank you. I hope the same for you. It's a long weekend. We have our famous Ganesha festival on Monday. I will be busy preparing for the fest and celebrating it.

I had a busy Friday morning.
I had to catch a cab and go somewhere.
Early morning, it started raining heavily.
It made me a bit worried although I had scheduled the cab previous night.
Yet sometimes cabs are not so regular during the rainy times.
However, rain got lesser and when it stopped, there was a bright sunshine.
I had taken leave that day so I was free by the afternoon.
Yet it was then time for two loads of clothes for machine wash and a few other things.
I hope that your classes went fine enough.
Bean Bag games sound exciting.

Happy that the rain didn't ruin your plans. My weekend was busy with festival preparations and celebrations. We bring Ganpati at home for a day and do a low profile Pooja and bhog preparation with friends and family. But even that gets tiring with all preparations for bhog thaali and cooking for all. We had a grand celebration of Onam on Sunday in our apartment and Ganpati on Monday. Lots of cultural activities, pooja pandal, stalls, games... everything was fun and tiring.
Do you celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi??

My weekend has been great. In fact now since I have retired all the days are the same for me. Dont realize when it is weekday and when its weekend!!!!!!. I have a parttime online job which I need to do all seven days on the week so no holiday as such for me.

@arunima25 I was working as a Executive Assistant before I retired and my job is somewhat on similar lines. I work as a Virtual Assistant now. My Boss is someone I knew for many years and he now lives in London and Paris. So I have to be online as per his timings. Since this is not a full-time job I am looking for some more similar opportunities where I can assist people with their online work.

I know that once you stop going to work, you loose track of the days. It happens with me all the time during holidays or even after a long weekend

Thank you. I have got into the preparation mood. Today I did some good cleaning around the house with the help of my household help. Tomorrow will be more about cooking preparations and preparation for Pooja. I hope that you are feeling okay. You were not so well according to the last post of yours that I read.

@arunima25 geocaching is like a modern day treasure hunt except it just for fun nothing valueable. I use a phone with an app where I log my finds, I use a gps to find them. They are hidden under light skirts, in the woods all over the place. It’s addicting.

It's raining right now and glad we don't have to go out for zumba. Honestly I don't like participating in zumba activities every Friday.

Why do you have to go for Zumba if you don't enjoy it? Is that a compulsion?
One of our friend here in apartment conducted zumba classes during summer vacation. I joined it and enjoyed doing it with my friends.
