Vibrio Vulnificus, the flesh-eating virus, has struck again. A woman from California purchased, cooked and consumed some tilapia but did not cook it thoroughly. She became infected with the bacteria; and to save her life, doctors were forced to amputate her arms and her legs which had turned black. The woman is 40. Please stay out of saltwater if you have an open wound of any kind, think twice before eating raw oysters; and be sure to cook your seafood thoroughly. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - We have a couple of extra Meals on Wheels lunches -- Cheese stuffed pasta, Lima beans, corn and fruit cocktail Dessert/Snack - Chocolate muffin and decaf coffee Dinner - Piece of KFC chicken What did you eat yesterday? Oh my goodness, this virus sounds so horrible. I have the feeling we have more and more serious problems in the world.

As the waters get warmer and warmer we may find more and more harmful bacteria.

@LindaOHio - I have no idea, but there are more and more accidents because fish are attacking humans. Well, they have all the reasons to do this, look how we have polluted the oceans.

That's horrible what happened to her. I always cook my seafood thoroughly. Except for the lima beans, your food looks good. Yesterday: Breakfast - Oatmeal with blueberries, and banana. Lunch - Cheese sandwich on Oatnut bread. Supper - Venison and baked potato. Kellog's All-Bran Buds with milk. Snack - Dark chocolate M&Ms - 1 oz. Yes, I had willpower for 1 serving. I kept it within my calorie budget. I like your picture.

Yes, it posted! Now I'm getting a runtime error; and the picture is not too large. Sigh.

I remember having salmon and carrots, and if I didn’t remember it, I would assume I ate them anyway due to my ridiculous history.

What happened to her sounds like a horror movie. I had a cheeseburger I made myself with seasoned fries, I also had a sweet dish I have come to love scoops of cottage cheese topped with a bit of sour cream and spread over all grape jelly, Delicious,

Awful thing that bacteria. Thanks for the advice. Glad I don't do those things. I had trout and turnip greens. Will have some ice cream later.
