Early release day

I had worried about managing the early release days for a few weeks.
I am pleased to report that it went well, pretty much.
Today Bob is at the library. The cats are sleeping in the office, Bruno is on the desk.
This is about the time I usually get home, but I have been home about an hour and a half.
Tomorrow is Thursday. Most of the fifth grade students will be gone to an outdoor activity put on by the state of Kansas. It involves nature walk, animals, and archery. It is not suited to my main student, and the other fifth grade student I work with can only go if her parents go, and they will. I am glad.
We are getting into the swing of things at school, although we do have people out for illness., or recovering from childbirth.
I am cooking onions and mushrooms tonight to put into a chicken gravy we will serve over rice. Simple and satisfying.
I think I am enjoying my evening.

I'm glad your early release day is safely over. Sometimes these things can be very stressful.

I'm glad you think you're enjoying your evening ..... it's only 4:30 pm here and I've had a good day so far.
Both my kritters are off napping somewhere in here, can't find Tuffy.

Thank goodness the concern about handling an early release turned out to be a good deal for you to handle.
