Monday Morning Brief and Weekend Update

Good morning from sunny, cool, Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It was a good weekend and a tiring one. It was good to relax yesterday after the exuberance of my nearly five-year-old grandniece. I thought she was five but will be five in November. If you watched football and saw the Saints-Packers game, you know it was a bad good game for the Packers and a good, bad game for the Saints. The Pack was down 17-0 at the half and through the third quarter. We managed to hold them to 17 in the second half and in the fourth quarter; the Pack got their act together and won the game by one point. 18-17. I was yelling at them throughout the game. They had more penalties than I've ever seen them get in a game. It was almost every play. Or at least it felt that way. I really thought we were going to lose our home opener and was surprised when we won. So, other than church, that was my day yesterday. I watched my shows and a movie - Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder. My plans for today are simple. I have an exercise class in half an hour and then I will continue to catch up with the notifications. I'm done with my games for the time being. I will also have the health report today since I wasn't here on Friday or Saturday for a very long time to post it. I will also work on a book today. I should have my manuscript back next week. I won't be going to rock painting this week as I have Bible study during that time on Wednesday. I'm still hoping to have it published in time for Christmas.
