I got some work done on my book today!

I have had the morning off today and don't have to teach at Guitar Center until 3 PM. I decided to dive into the book I'm writing and see where I was. I have five on-going chapters, including one that is almost done. I had enough mojo to add a few paragraphs, some about about a autistic kid who loved music, and others about a "cursing kid" who loved rap music and was obsessed with his "heterosexuality." I think it's time to take a break from writing and relax before heading off.

We shall see. They're not students I know that well yet. Yesterday went well. The "tearful" girl mentioned her parents' divorce. But she was focused on a certain tune, so we had a productive musical session. I did not have to play "therapist" too much.
