A new project for me

At least twelve months ago but maybe it’s two years, I crocheted a red and blue beanie for a (horse) endurance rider. She wore it over her skull cap and it was easy to pick her out in our photos because of the bright colours.
She jokingly mentioned to Vince that she now needs a pink beanie. When I checked the latest photos, her horse has a new pink bridle so perhaps she wants to match. So I bought some pink wool today and I’ll make her a pink beanie. It doesn’t take me long to make one and with luck she’ll be at the last ride of the season which is in a week’s time.

They only take a couple of evenings to make so it's not a big deal for me. It's nice to be able to do it for her.
