Just ordered some Tom Kha Gai. What did you have for lunch on this sunny and cool Saturday?

I just ordered some Thai chicken soup with mushrooms, coconut milk, and lemon grass. Extra spicy. Rice on the side. I used to get the same twice a week, but my friend Ko moved her restaurant a mile or so further away, so it's just a bit more of a haul to get there on the spur of the moment. My life hasn't been the same since she got caller ID. I used to call in with all sorts of phony accents and ask for cheeseburgers and other things. They got me back a few times. Once, Ko tried to sound like an Asian lady who spoke little English. She is half Chinese and half Thai and can do Asian accents well. She said, "Sorry, we under new ownership." I said "You're kidding me! Where's Ko?" She actually "got me." I'd write more about the times they got me back, but I'm really hungry, so I'm going to head out and get my Tom Kha Gai.
