I will be driving more

Since I am not riding the bus, I will be driving more, and that is okay with me. I also will have access to my car during the day if I should need it.
When we got the van, or shortly thereafter, we got new rear tires. I have been looking at the front ones and felt that I needed new ones. Bob took the van and had that done today. It makes for safer driving, that is for sure.
We also plan to take a trip over Thanksgiving, so we are planning ahead.
While we were out this afternoon we got gas for the van for driving next week.
We have to plan ahead.

We filled the tank a few days ago. I paid $4.00 a gallon for regular... $50 for a full tank.

We are still under $4.00. Probably $3.49 today. We made three round trips to Wichita this week, that is 55 miles one way. No out of town doctor visits planned for this week.

@GardenGerty We had two trips to Springfield this week so had to get gas... As far as we know right now, we only have one trip out of town in the next two weeks. A full tank lasts around a month or a month and a half for us.

We have to drive a lot, some weeks. So sometimes it is once a week, sometimes every two weeks.

It has taken me a while to get to where I will do it this way. It sure relieves stress.

@GardenGerty Yes. My husband is a procrastinator...nothing gets done; and it makes me crazy!
