A pink beanie for an endurance rider

Some time back I crocheted a beanie for an endurance rider. She asked for a red and blue on and she wears it over her crash helmet. I think it is probably a bit too big to wear otherwise. She is easy to pick out in photos because of the beanie. She and Vince were talking and she said she’d like a pink beanie so, as you can see in the photo, I’ve done her a pink one. This time I asked her what the circumference should be so it fits much better. Another endurance rider saw it and I have offered to make her one. It will be blue and white. They don’t take me long to do and I enjoy doing them. Perhaps she’ll put it on her helmet too. And perhaps I’ll get more orders for them. The collage shows the rider wearing the red and blue beanie. It was easier to put up four photos rather than two. The other rider is the one who wants the blue and white one.

Still no beanies for horses, I'm afraid. Perhaps I should crochet a dog jacket. Every horse-rider seemed to have at least one dog.

The red and blue one was probably too big for her to wear unless it was on the helmet. The pink one is smaller as I had her give me her head circumference.

She has a really nice horse. He's purebred Arab and together they've done around 2500 kms (1550 miles) since 2014.
