Pizza for lunch / myLot

And it was very good pizza. I can honestly say it was the best slice of pizza I've had in a long time that K didn't make. I now have a new favorite pizza place here in Carolina Beach, Fentoni's. Fentoni's is located in the Boardwalk area of Carolina Beach. They sell pizzas, subs, and other standard pizza stand fare, as well as pizza by the slice. The slices are big. One slice of pepperoni and bacon was enough for me for lunch. After lunch, I walked along the Boardwalk and stopped to take a photo of the beach. I may post that in a later discussion. I'm glad I went today, as the updated forecast is calling for rain starting this evening and continuing into tomorrow. Where is your favorite pizza place? What style of pizza do you like best?

I think CiCi’s pizza is my favorite, although Sam’s Club will sell you a huge, delicious slice. No joke; it is delicious.

@DWDavis I never know who has Sam’s Club, who has Costco, and who has a B.J.’s. We only have a Sam’s Club.

@AmbiePam We only have Sam's Club in our town. The nearest Costco or BJ's is over an hour away.

I do not have a favorite pizza place. When I get a pizza; I normally get a surpreme or a meat lover pizza.

At home, we don't have any really good pizza places. Here on the island, there are three. I only knew of two until today when someone told me about Fentoni's.

Marco's Pizza is pretty good. I know it's a chain, but they make it well. I notice that a local shop here has white pizza and I I love it. I may try that,,,or deep dish Chicago style. I love a deep dish pizza, but better wait until I have some company and sent it home with them. It would not be wise to devour the whole pie. Wegman's grocery store had delicious white pizza but for some reason changed the formula and I don't like it as much now.

My favorite pizza place is a small "Pizzera" in Italy, immediately outside the border. The classic Italian Pizza Margherita is my favorite.

We get our pizza from Pizza Hut and like the deep-dish style. The couple of Italian restaurants in the area charge way too much for a pizza. It's going to be rainy here for the next few days too and only in the 50s. Yuck! Hope you have a good day.

I like Dominos pizza but I like Mama Cossis frozen pizza just as well. I keep a couple of those in my freezer. I take veggie cheese pizza. It’s raining here. I just got back from the mailbox.my umbrella came in handy.

I guess that depends. Here it's Pizza World. We have a couple of standalones like Papa Vito's which is quite good, but they don't deliver so they rarely get my business since when I have pizza it is usually for delivery. Back home in Milwaukee it was Tarantino's. To this day still one of the best pizzas I have ever had and I do miss it greatly.
