Enjoying the reflections at Tone Bridge, Western Australia

On the way home from the town of Denmark, Western Australia, we stopped off at Tone Bridge. Vince is looking at the babbling brook and the old ford that once crossed the river at that point. There is now a substantial bridge much higher above the water. The local Progress Association has built a gazebo and a self-composting toilet to encourage travellers to stop for a while and enjoy the surroundings. We had a cup of coffee there and enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs.

what a lovely spot! ya know i'm a sucker fer reflections, so most 'ppreciative 'f the pic. takes me back to a lifetime 'go. brilliant they've put'n such. i wish they'd do that here. self-compostin' loos 'd be a major plus. there'd be few rest stops out'n these parts outside 'f a picnic bench 'n o'erfilled trash can,lol.

While these rest paces are a great idea, they can take quite an amount of time and effort to maintain. They wouldn't take so much of either if the public would do their part and treat such areas with consideration.
