What is the weirdest thing you carry in your bag / purse?

Women's bags or purses are authentic Pandora's boxes. Inside them, there is a world to explore according to my husband
I know I carry a lot of stuff in my bag (wallet, tissue, house and car keys, hand cream, lipsticks, nail file, hand sanitizer, band-aids and sanitary pads, a sewing box for any lost buttons, cell phone, personal card wallet, notepad, four pens, and countless pieces of paper from the supermarket and others that I still have to find out how they got there). If you see me on the street and need something, I'm absolutely sure I'll be able to help you, with the exception of money and plane tickets to the Maldives.
Personally, I think I only have "normal" things in my bag.
Today, in a conversation with two friends, I learned that one is carrying pepper spray (according to her for protection, you never know when someone crazy is going to show up) and the other is carrying some underwear and extra socks. (she didn't explain why, just said it may be needed)
What is the weirdest thing you carry in your bag/purse? Or that you have seen in someone's purse/bag?
Picture of a bag that I want to buy but where my things don't fit.

I also have normal things in my bag. Once in a while I "clean" it to throw away ancient prescriptions I did not buy or too many supermarket papers. I´d love to know where I can buy pepper spray. I think that it would be a good addition to my purse.

@nela13 I do not use a purse here..it is too dangerous to do so.
I wear a strap around my waist with a pocket zipped with my card or cash that is all oh and keys.
Phone is in my hand.

That's so funny. Until recently I had a normal sized purse, but it really was too heavy, so I now have a black one similar to your photo. So far I'm actually living without all that other stuff. So far.

Your purse sounds just like my moms. She used to carry so many "necessary" things that we called it her Mary Poppins bag.
These days I don't carry much so it just has the usual....keys, phone and wallet.

A few years ago our church had a Christmas card exchange. I would put mine and my uncle's Christmas cards in it. One year the men's sunday school class gave me some money for Christmas. I still have the Christmas card in my purse.

In India we have this festival called Ganesh Chaturthi, on that day we offer different leaves to god. And post puja we take some of the leaves and save them at home or in purses, books, wardrobes, etc.,
So I have some dried leaves in my purse.
Once i had trouble with airport security explaining him what it is.
