Barbie costume sales leads the way in Halloween

Due to the popularity the Barbie doll which has been around since 1959, according to Google, when Halloween comes around in 11 days, a lot of people of the female gender are likely to dress up as the character this year. The Google Freightgeist index mentions that due to the popularity of fictional superhero characters and other fictional characters, witches are not the top choice of persons celebrating Halloween. It is kind of odd that a witch is not the lead choice for persons to dress up as for this year's Halloween celebration since some religious websites claim that dressing up as a witch or warlord is not in good taste. That does not surprise me at all, However when I was little it was the time of the ready-made costumes and masks, Mom wanted me to be a princess or fairy and I always wanted to be a witch,

Kids to like the fads in costume wear. The movie must have made millions for companies that sell costumes and toys. I rather go as a witch. Much more Halloweeny.

It's that Barbie movie's fault

. Everyone wants to be a movie character these days . . . I find those bought costumes to be boring. I'd rather see creative put-together costumes . . . like a cool witch

I'm sure it's because of the success of the Barbie movie this year. Usually when kids love a movie, they dress up as their characters for Halloween.
