I thought you might like a giggle or two.

I just had to share this shot again.

I figure since I giggled maybe you would too. However, are you old enough to remember Steve Martin in his younger days? This video of him on the Smothers Brothers show is really funny

I remember them all. In fact, I remember when Steve's hair was even darker than that.

I do too. I think he looks really handsome with the white hair he has now.

He is funny. He does some routines with Martin Short on Netflix that are funny. Tuffy looks as big as Nico is. He grew up fast.

@rebelann Innuendos - yes! Everything now seems to be "in your face" kinda humor - it's not crafted as creatively like the old times.

Exactly. Half the fun was trying to figure out what Red Skelton or Danny Kaye really meant.

Yeah, I miss those old funnies where half the fun was when you finally got the innuendos.

The video had a glitch, but I did enjoy Steve Martin during his stand up comidian days, but I do not remember the Smothers Brothers show.

They were on the same time as Laugh-In and it was a battle which one we'd watch.

They were canceled at the end of 1969 and the network their show was on banned them @juliaacv So many censor issues were going on that year and what the brothers talked about was controversial back then.

@rebelann That makes sense as I was only 7 years old in 1969 and I know that my parents did not allow us children to watch television in the evening.

I used to watch that show then they were canceled. Best variety show on the air in 1969.

In 1969 the network where that show aired decided they were too controversial so they were banned and after that happened the brothers didn't bother to try again, it's a shame too because they were very funny.

His old routines were so corny; but he could sure play the heck out of that banjo! Have a good Sunday. That's a cute picture.

Hey, back then most comedians were corny because of the censorships each network placed on the shows. They even forbid the use of the word 'pregnant' back then.

I don't have cable or even live TV so I'm not really sure what's allowed these days. Some of the things that were censored in the 60s makes no sense to me but then in the 60s not much made sense anywhoo.

@rebelann I know. I hate most of the comedians of today. They are so raunchy and use every swear word in the book.
