Thunderstorms

I have heard rain off and on all night. We have quite the thunderstorm going on right now.
I am browning some shaved beef to add to a pot of vegetables for a hearty soup. Iti s just that type of a day.
At school one of our people who was out on maternity leave has returned and that is good.
This afternoon I will substitute on the bus.
For breakfast, so far, I have had two big pieces of sourdough bread with butter and molasses. I will eat some protein before work though.
Now it is time to get dressed, and also to put that soup together to simmer all day. It will be delicious.

I hope you have a good day at work and your soup is delicious when you get home this afternoon.
It has been storming here off and on for the last two days and is supposed to storm again this afternoon and overnight.
I did get my allergy shots yesterday afternoon and Pretty and I were supposed to go grocery shopping yesterday but she decided to sleep all day. After I got home from getting my shots, I tried to wake her up but she told me to leave her alone... so I went back to bed, too.

I heard a clatter last night. A couple things fell off the window sill in the kitchen. Haven't had breakfast, just tea and my meds, but it is time to get dressed as I'll be going to the Centre today.

My BIL makes a really mean sourdough bread. I start salivating just thinking about it! lol
