I Have to Get to Work

When I started my new YouTube channel my goal was to try to put together at least two videos a week. The reality is that, even though I technically have the time, I do still do a lot of other things.
Writing does take up quite a bit of my time, for example, and right now it earns me money unlike YouTube does right now since I don't have the 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours in a year I need in order to monetize.
My last video posted was 9 days ago. So, I really need to get another one done. But they are really time consuming. A 10 minute video takes all of a day to edit and finish to post.
The channel is about money. I just need to figure out what my next topic will be and get to work.

It is awesome to be able to earn money through writing, especially money that's more than pocket change. Wish that was the case with me.

@porwest You can write a stellar post online but how do you get lots of people to check it out? That is the question. Guess you have to be a pro at SEO.

@lovebuglena I have personally never been a huge fan of SEO. Sure, getting an audience is hard. But it can be done if your content is good. Sometimes it requires a certain level of networking too. Get in good with other people with a large audience and see if you can get into their inner circles a little bit and share some of your stuff and then other people find you.

I do quite a few videos a week, and I put them up to premier one a day. I don't do any editing. I do a 5 minute video usually, and post it as is.

@porwest I enjoy doing it. I'm not doing it for the money, which is a good job really, because I've only got 23 subscribers! 
But I hope people like my videos. That's all I care about.

@sharonelton If it doesn't feel like work and you enjoy doing it...yep. That's all that matters. You never know, one day you might actually make money from it. It's amazing what people watch on that thing.

I can't tell you and I can't tell you where to find the link either because the powers that be would say that's overly promotional even if you directly asked me and I wanted to answer the question, which I can't because I'd get in trouble if I do. lol EVEN IF my channel is not monetized and I won't make a dime, they still won't let me do it. Meanies, they are.

All the best for your new channel. May money flow into your account. I believe one needs to invest time and effort to see some success in it.
