Good morning, friends.

This morning, as I was accepting that we would not have what I call spring, I opened the 3rd drawer of my chest of drawers and got out one of my ancient alpaca night socks. It is better for my feet that to burn them with a hot water bottle (or, really, a rice heated pad).
And I went for my breakfast in bed and watched for some time the Pan American Games. There was a 57 lady playing table tennis for Chile. The most important thing is that she is originally Chinese but came to Chile several decades ago. Her husband and kids are "made in Chile"
And she calls herself "a Chilean with wonton". Although she did not reach the medal, I think that she is a person to admire.
Now it is near lunch time so I´ll have to see what I have. I have some leftover cooked chicken (not much), cooked cauliflower and mayo I made yesterday. Should I eat them lightly warm with mayo? Should I bread them and fry them and make a green salad at the side?
There is a chilly sun out. It is disgusting. At this time of the year we should have a warmer weather.
Friends, I´m going to the kitchen. See you after lunch.

I hope you had a good lunch and are warm enough now... I got some leftover chicken nuggets and ate those for lunch. I hope you're enjoying your day.

I´m warm and happy. The socks are much better than hot water bottles.

@DaddyEvil I had a big drawer full of socks. The last time Tania came I gave her a pair of socks that you can wear inside your house without shoes. They have something that will not let you slip.

Try and stay warm and have a good day. Your socks sound cozy.

We are moving towards colder weather. That is what is supposed to happen here so hopefully you start warming up.

@marguicha We are only starting with the cold weather. It will be months before the cold is over.

They are incredible. The alpaca wool is silky and they are hand knitted

@marguicha In my mind, I was thinking of something thick, stiff, and uncomfortable to wear. I am glad I was wrong about that. Where do you get them?

I was never very interested in table tennis. My dad bought a table and everything that was needed and placed it in a sort of garage he had at his second home in the country. Some visitors had fun playing there. I preferred to go an gather blackberries.

I think that I would not be able to live in a place where it snowed now.
