1 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's a good thing I'm not taking part in NaNoWriMo. There's no way I could write 1667 words today. My plate is full.
Good afternoon from sunny, cold Green Bay, Wisconsin. I would say it was cool outside, but most of you would disagree with me because it's 37 F out there. Almost no wind, so it's very nice. Really.
Today has been a good day. I have much to be thankful for. I hope you all have something to be thankful for today on this first day of November. The Thankful month.
I'm thankful it's the first. I could get groceries with the OTC insurance card. I didn't go to Hy-Vee. I found some good deals at Pick-N-Save, a grocery store that also takes the OTC card.
I'm thankful my new debit card came in the mail. I let my hair dresser know and got my haircut paid today.
I'm thankful for rock painting. I brought home two rocks and got a Thanksgiving rock done today. It will be podged next week and I'll bring it home.
I'm thankful for you. I feel privileged to call many of you my friend. I finished the notifications twice today. I have more to work on now, but they'll need to wait until after prayer tonight. I'll be going down to the community room shortly.
I'm thankful for the many blessings God gives me every day. I have a beautiful apartment, good friends here, food, a bed, and a social life. I am so blessed.
I'm thankful for the gift of writing God gave me early in life and the many ideas He gave me for stories, some now published. I'm thankful I will soon have another book published.
I'm thankful for my life, my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I might not see them often, but I know they love me.
Most of all, I'm thankful for my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Savior, without whom I am nothing. He guides me, directs my steps, and is the word in everything I write.
I am so thankful. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

You had a busy day today. With the cold weather coming now, it is good to stay busy. A good way to keep warm.

@celticeagle Yes, it counts. Is it the good list or the naughty list?

Last Wednesday would have been my aunt's birthday so I listened to music to celebrate, gave the cats treats, and used some wax melts (can't light a candle because of the cats).

That's understandable Valerie. You can take this month and maybe do it next year for camp. I'm Rebelling this year for the third year in the row. I'm thankful that after two rough months, my neck pain is slightly better but not much. I'm thankful that I have forgiving friends here in Mylot for taking two months off for health reasons. It's good to be back.

I've never done camp. It might be interesting.
I'm glad you're being a Rebel.
