Finger sandwiches

We didn’t plan to do anything for Halloween because I had to go out, my partner was late getting home, one of the girls was going trick or treating with a couple of friends and the other was going round to a friend’s house for a little celebration. So we got a few treats in stock for any callers and that was it. But then the parent who was hosting the little group at her house found she had to stay late at work, and could her children come to ours first and she would pick them all up later? There wasn’t time to do much but I felt like I ought to make a bit of an effort to get in the spirit so I did manage to rustle up some finger sandwiches and shrunken-head punch to keep them going until their Mum arrived.
