Day 1 of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge was a long one. I stayed up until midnight on Halloween in order to type my first words at 12:00:01 on November 1. By 10:30 last night, I'd written over 5,300 words. Believe me, I slept solidly last night.
I hope those who celebrate such had a Happy Halloween and a pleasant All Saints Day.
Today is All Souls Day and the Day of the Dead.
This morning was also our first freezing morning of the year. 32F/0C when I got up at 6:30.
I hope you're all doing well. Due to NaNoWriMo, my posts may be more sporadic than usual this month.
PS: The photo is somehow related to my NaNoWriMo project, I think.

It's great to have an incentive like NaNoWriMo. It's obviously working for you.

The main thing about writing, I always say, is to just keep the pen moving. Of course, the words for something like this are more than just dribble to keep the mind going and the words flowing. But I am sure, as a fellow writer, you get the idea. Onward and upward to you.

Good luck. I seem to be in a writing and reading hiatus. Can't seem to concentrate. We still have a little bit of s**w on the ground which I hate. I hope you had a ton of inspiration today!
