2 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I don't know if I got a lot done, but it was still good.
I'm thankful for a good night's sleep. I had two nights in a row without back pain. 
I also slept in my bed, not the recliner.
I'm thankful I got my steps early this morning with two rounds per floor, including the underground garage.
I'm thankful for a good shopping trip. I needed to go back to the store. I bought the wrong beans for the chili yesterday. I got pinto instead of kidney. I gave the pinto beans to Missy's daddy. When I got back from Canasta, I saw I got two different cans of chili beans. One was spicy. I traded that can with one from my friend down the hall.
I'm thankful for a good game of Canasta. We had seven people today. One table of four, one of three. I was at the table of three. I won the game. It was close, which always makes it fun.
I'm thankful I have all the notifications done three times today. It's always good to see what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful I got the laundry done early this morning. I finished before six with the clothes put away shortly afterward.

I am thankful I lost 3 pounds at the weigh in today although I was hoping for 5. I am thankful for the free food scale, although it does need some new batteries I think.

@LovesEverybody Yes, I am trying to be happy about it. I need to make more changes though. I would love to be losing 2 pounds per week. Good to see you back again Jennifer. You have been missed!

@LovesEverybody Nothing in particular I am taking ozembic though. I got in a clinical trial. I am just trying to modify my eating habits. I am not very good at sticking to diet plans. I always get bored and rebel. WW is the only one that is flexible enough for me...but if I can really try hard I might not need anything else after this program is over. there is a long time left to do it.

I am thankful that the Prime Opinion survey site has a bonus incentive for the next 13 days for a Black Friday special on the site which will increase my chances to get paid when I reach 500 points and the fact that I won $10 dollars competing surveys on MyPoints.

I'm thankful for family and friends. For having a daughter that is so loving and brings joy to our life. I am thankful for being able to spend time with family and friends with good food. Being able to workout every morning and thank God for another day.

I am thankful George is stable and recovering. He's trying to talk more, and I think they tried to get him to eat while I was home caring for Chilly.
