Decorating Time?

I was checking Home Depot for prices on some items and came across home decorations and such. I do like to look. We have a small Christmas tree with some ornaments and that's about it for our Christmas decorating. But, low and behold here was an entire article on how to decorate your tree. How lights like you need for the size of the tree and there were some interesting pointers on decorating with ornaments. How to put ribbon on a tree. Hmm. That's interesting. So, anyway, I thought I'd share this with you all in case you might need/want some help in certain areas. Here's the link:

I did ribbon on my tree for two years. I don’t recall what I put on as my topper last year but I know I tied white tulle to the branches last year. The tulle was from my veil on my first marriage
. I couldn’t find what I did with my new rolls and the veil was all I had and really no longer needed. I thought it was a neat way to reuse it and say goodbye to it.

'tulle'? That is a good way to reuse it.

We don't celebrate much so the small one is enough.

I am a sucker for all things glitter. I have no idea what I will do this year about a tree. Peter Junior cat doesn't help. If I buy a cut tree then I have to figure what to do with it after Christmas. If I buy a fake tree then I have to store it for 11 months. Can't win. This town has a gi-normous light display, folks in their elderly houses outdoing each other. I love the dazzling craziness.

I always enjoyed driving around and checking out people's decorations. Haven't done that in ages. This year I have several delicious-smelling candles that smell like the trees. The one I have going now has frankincense and Myrhh in it.

@celticeagle It's all your fault that I ordered a four foot tall fake tree yesterday.

I have 4 cats so I can only have a tabletop tree. Last year I didn't put one up because I went to NJ to visit my boyfriend. I'm not going to NJ this year. I don't know if I will put up the tree this year.
