7 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. Not as warm as yesterday, not getting out of the 40s and is 37 F right now according to my computer. I know I'm never on the computer this late, but I didn't want to go to bed without letting you know what I'm thankful for today. I'm thankful for a different start to today. I went to bed at 6:30 last night and was up at 11 PM for two hours before I went back to bed at 1 AM. I'm thankful for the two chapters of Destination Love I edited before going back to bed. I'm thankful for the time I spent here with you, seeing what you are doing in your world. I finished the notifications once today. I'm thankful for the Bible study this morning. We finished the book, Prayer Warrior, this morning and will start a new study next week, The Day Approaching by Amir Tsarfati. I'm thankful for the shopping I did at Hy-Vee this morning. I wanted to get a turkey for Thanksgiving. They had a special going on when I got there. Buy a ham, get a free turkey. I expected to give the ham to my son, but that's not to be. My friend told me she would buy it from me. I didn't expect she would buy it from me. That will make my turkey completely free. God is good. I'm thankful for the work I did on Destination Love this afternoon before Writer's Guild. I had two chapters left when my friend picked me up. I'm thankful for Writer's Guild. I read from my manuscript, Guns of War, and got more feedback for it. This one isn't finished yet. I'm thankful for Destination Love. I just finished editing it and will start the publishing process tomorrow. There's one final edit to go through when I start the publishing process, so it won't be published tomorrow, but hopefully before Thanksgiving. I made a lot of changes in the last ten chapters of the book. I'm hoping for a clean read-through with all the changes I made. I know it's ready. Soon, it will be a book. Okay, that's my day.
