Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning from a cold, cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin. Our high today is supposed to be 44 F. It's almost that now at 41 F according to my computer.
I love Saturdays. I can catch up with my sleep, and did. I got up at 5 this morning. I also finished the notifications once, read through two chapters of Destination Love, and have almost all my steps for the day. I still have two-hundred to go to six-thousand.
So the plans for the rest of the same is more of the same: working the notifications and reading through Destination Love.

We will watch the Cleveland Browns play today. No other plans. Hope you are having a good weekend.

@LindaOHio It's good they have. The Pack isn't so lucky. Though I almost thought they would on Sunday.

Good evening!! It was a little chilly here and damp today. We had rain in the forecast, but only got a fine mist here at my house. I think there is a circle around my house with a big sign facing upwards: Don't rain here!! It's crazy!! Last week 90% rain and not a drop here!!

Is that a Stone painting you made?
You are doing great in your targets!
We have our biggest festival - Diwali or the Festival of Lights in Sunday (12th).
So we had a lot of buying for prayers and decorations.
Plus Sweets.
I think for many of us, Sugar levels and Cholesterol might be up during these times.
So one way to compensate could be to walk more.
With pollution levels down now, we might get to walk more outside.
Is it a comfortably cold or is it chilly when one goes out?

Chilly cold, but it feels good, so also comfortable.
Yes, that's a stone painting I did.
It's sugar season here too with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon. I'm going to need to do a lot of walking to keep my weight going down instead of up as it did the last two years at this time.

Yes and somehow we have lots of stocks of sweets with us.
Perhaps I can distribute a few to my friends!
I could have sent over a few to you but well, the distance is just too much !

Good morning. The plumber just left after fixing the tub... It was strange... I could run as much water down any other drain in the house and it didn't back up but run even a small amount in the tub and it started filling without the drain plug being inserted. At least it's fixed now.
I've done a load of clothes and washed dishes this morning. I think it's time to go back to bed now.
