Do you pair down your FB friends list periodically?

I have never done it. I guess I should, but I like reading what people are up to even if I don't have a connection with them. Sometimes on surveys and so forth too, you need to have a certain amount of people on your "friend's" list I know for a fact that probably more than a few people on my "friends' list don't like me,,and by default I am not crazy about them either.

Once in a blue moon I go through my list on FB and delete people. Mostly they are people I never see or hear from anymore and old co-workers that I rarely interacted with when we worked together.

@Marilynda1225 I know...one of them used to email me all the time, and I miss her alot. Nice lady, I had no idea she was that ill...she was strictly an online friend. Her family said she had suffered for years though.

You are so funny. I don’t usually delete anyone because I am a little concerned I’m going to delete someone who once did something very nice, and I just don’t remember at that moment what they did. I don’t know why they would care if they were in my list, but in case they do care, I’ll leave it alone. I’m hardly on Facebook anyway.

That's the thing 2 of the people who don't like me on there I went out of my way to do something nice for. They are locals..but they aren't nice to me when I see them in person..and just aren't very friendly online if I ask them a question.

@AmbiePam Yeah, not saying they might not have a reason, but nobody is perfect,and like I said, I have been nice to them.

I've never done it either, but I've noticed some of my friends have. And I guess I was included in the "chop". Oh well. All my FB friends are folks I know or have known personally - but many I have not communicated with in eons. Still, I don't feel the need to really delete any of them.

@much2say It's a little disturbing...but life isn't always pleasant.

@snowy22315 I used to feel a teeny bit crushed about it - but well, now it's like whatevers.

@just4him I have gotten a lot of information about things I otherwise wouldn't have known about. It's worth it to me for that.

I have a couple of obnoxious cousins on FB. One of them..I didn't delete her but I unfollowed her and I think she is no longer on FB. The other one isn't quite as bad, and doesn't post too often, so I left his account intact.

I rarely ever unfriend, but I started out my new account a few years back with something like 82 friends and am now down to 69 at last count. I get it if they disagree with what I post or whatever, but I generally try to maintain friendships even in disagreement.

@snowy22315 the ones who consistently interact with you, I'd suggest keep them. If you haven't even gotten a like,comment,or DM message from someone in years, I'd suggest clip them from your connections (only if you want, of course.)

My sister probably only has like 5 on hers. She never goes on FB. I am surprised they don't inactivate her account.

I only check it when I have nothing better to do. Sometimes it makes me laugh. Cute videos on there.

I don't do any downsizing of my Facebook friends. If I don't like somebody's attitude I just stop responding to their post.

I have a lot of friends that aren't active; and I don't remember who they are anymore; but I've never pared down my list. I probably should. Have a great day.
