Happy Tuesday Everyone! we have a partly sunny, cloudy day here today. Temperatures are in the mid 50sF with a bit of a breeze. I can hear my wind chimes.
I've had a fairly busy morning doing routine things that I wanted to get done before I spend time on the computer.
My daughter has a meeting so I have to be quiet for about an hour so I figured it would be a good time to pop on here and chat for awhile. In about an hour she'll be ready to take her lunch break and I'm going to make us tuna fish sandwiches. Nothing fancy but with a side of pickles and a few potato chips it should be good.
I made a few small online sales so I have to pack that stuff up and get it ready to mail.
I've been organizing my yarn and I found that I have quite a few skeins of just one of each particular kind or color. One skein isn't enough for me to make anything so I figured I'd try to sell them and so far I've gotten a few sales. Then I can buy more and keep my crocheting projects going.
I started a book over the weekend and by about 50 pages in the story took a turn and that's when I realized I had already read this book. Now I have to pick a new book to read. I like books that have series but like this one, it's easy to lose track and find yourself reading something you've already read. I guess I really need to start keeping track where I leave off.
Thanksgiving is next week and I have to find out from my daughter what kind of side dishes she wants me to make and bring.
Not much else going on here.

Nice and quiet today. Lou is coming by to bring me a weighted blanket she doesn’t need to see if I like it. I have to run and get a few things at the grocery, but that might wait until tomorrow and I might go for a walk instead, since it’s a nice day here.

I have so many books and I try to keep them in order especially the ones in a series. You know how much I love to read but I don't want to waste time on something I've already read when there's so many I haven't. Plus, I have your Destination Love to look forward to

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I know how much you love to read. I need you to be patient a little longer. The final edit is almost done, but I'm going to upload a new picture on the back of the book with my new glasses. I ordered them yesterday. They'll be in within 7-14 days.
I agree, it's a great way to get more cash so you can buy more.

Our weather is about the same here. Wind and all.
I find that I am watching movies I've seen before. About half way in I realize I've seen it before.

@Marilynda1225 ........Yes. Many times I remember it as I am watching it. I'd forgotten the storyline almost completely. That's one sign of getting old.

I took half of the day off today.

@wolfgirl569 the price of yarn has gone up so much. I only buy when it's on sale and try to get extra of colors I know I use all the time

I make multi-coloured beanies from my odd skeins of wool. I try not to let my yarn accumulate as I don't have a lot of room here and I don't really do a lot of crochet. I just like to have something I can pick up if I'm at a loose end - so to speak. lol

I don't want to have too many skeins around that I have no use for. I wish I knew how to make beanies. I remember the pictures you've posted and how cute they were and of course a great way to use those odd skeins as well as bringing joy to the kids that got them.

@Marilynda1225 They are very easy and there are lots of patterns. I've done so many I don't bother with a pattern. You can start with a chain long enough to circle your head, join it into a circle then go round and round using whatever stitch you like until you think it's long enough then start decreasing to draw in the top. Or you can start from the top and work the other way.

Glad you can sell your yarn. I think I told you about the store near here called "Center of the Yarniverse". That is basically all they sell. I have looked in the windows, but haven't been inside.

It's Wednesday afternoon here. Pretty busy in the morning doing some freelance work. I also had a simple egg and ham sandwich for lunch.
