Those Scents That Take Me Back

We just lit one of the candles I got recently. Frozen Balsam. Mmm. Sigh. The smell takes me back... When I was a small child living with my grandmother(mom worked full time)Grams would quite often have me go out into the cold to either bring in coal or firewood from the garage. I remember how sometimes I would get a bit of sap on my shirt and would carry that pine scent around with me for the rest of the evening. My Uncle Fred would go up into the mountains and bring home leaves and limbs from pine trees sometimes. He even brought home a pine tree limb one time that was naturally shaped like a wreath. Nature is so amazing! I love the deep, rich scents of amber, pine, balsam, cedar, fir, musk, sandalwood, clove, tobacco, anise, ginger, tonka bean, jasmine, Indian papyrus, eucalyptus, rum, teakwood, patchouli, frankincense, Myrrh, barberry, citronella, and verbena. There is one other scent too that I enjoy. It is rich and foresty and I can't recall the name. HELP!! Can you think of any other old scents from years ago? And, I don't mean rose, lavender, and such either. It's an oil and I think it begins with a B. I looked all over the net and nothing came up. The image is from Albiencollege.com

Balsam is the only other scent I can remember carrying in with me from the forest besides the ones you've already mentioned.

@celticeagle Yes, it is. I actually like pine and cedar better but balsam is nice enough.
