Working it

I went to the pool this morning and worked out for about 35 minutes. Then I drove over to our ancient post office and mailed more Yule Tales. I think we have about half of them mailed now. I'm babysitting Beau Teak Siamese right now and looking out the front window at overcast skies. We did a funny but useful thing last week: we moved the big Dolly from a shed to the back porch. Sure looks huge when its in the house. It sure was a gigantic help when we needed to get the forty pound boxes of cat litter from the front porch. I love me some wheels! Sure is easier on the back, moving heavy boxes with a dolly. I hope who ever celebrates Thanksgiving has a great time of it. My feast day will not be meat based. It will feature hubby, me and the fur kids. And it won't feature anybody driving anywhere. Loving that. Take care.

We're staying home, too. We did our last bit of driving this week today... I got the RSV shot and the last one of my medications that the pharmacy misplaced.

@DaddyEvil I remember when my husband's meds were getting mixed up with some guy in WA DC. Very weird and not funny for hubby.

We don't call it a 'dolly'. To me it was always a sack truck. But yes, wheels were certainly a marvellous invention. however they're used.

That's a great way to spend the holiday. I'm with you. No plans to go. Just me, Bailey, and reading a good book in my pajamas. Maybe take a power nap while I'm still on my 3-day holiday break until Saturday. Enjoy!
