My pet peeve for the day: STOP STOP STOP

I was having a conversation with a guy on the Whatsapp, who I might meet if he comes to Israel. I was talking about my day yesterday which was disappointing for me, and in the middle of the conversation he said: STOP STOP STOP.
I find this to be quite rude and disrespectful.
This had happened before when I was having a conversation with my Stepmother, she said it too, but she is often stopping me from speaking.
Is there a popular television program where the characters interuppt each other like this? I live in Israel and I do not watch TV.

He then said that he didn't want me to "wallow around in the negative emotion" Well telling me STOP made me mad. So maybe I don't want to talk to him anymore.

I do not think this is learnt from TV behaviour. Interrupting someone when they are talking, and in the manner you described, just shows a lack of good manners.

How do people in Georgia converse? Or is this a lost art?
