I'd Be Lost Without Being Able To Shop Online

Happy Thursday Everyone! the sun is shining and it's not quite as cold today as it has been. I'm happy for the sunshine coming through the windows as it always makes me feel more energetic. I have somewhat busy day planned. I have an elderly Aunt & Uncle who are in their 90s and I always send them something for the holidays. Every year that passes it gets harder and harder to think of something to send. The past few years I've sent gift baskets and try not to send the same each year. They have a large family and really don't need anything but they're my only living Aunt & Uncle left so I like to send something. So, I'll be spending time online trying to figure out what to get them. My neighbor across the street is always offering a helping hand especially when it's time to pull the empty trash cans from the street. He and/or his sons do it for me almost every week so I like to reciprocate at Christmas with a gift. Then comes an old neighbor who always stops by with a little something, so I need to have a small gift on hand to give back. And, can't forget the hairdresser and the dog groomer. I love giving gifts but trying to figure out what to give is what boggles my mind. I got up this morning thinking it was Friday Time is going by fast enough without me skipping a day Happy last day of November

I admire you for sending something to your aunt and uncle. I usually send a card their way, not that they wouldn't appreciate a gift basket, but it is just another thing to buy. Online shopping really is convenient isn't it?

My Aunt & Uncle live in Massachusetts so I do like to send them something. I wish I lived closer and could visit.

@Marilynda1225 Maybe you and your daughter could take a road trip when the weather gets better.

You are so sweet to even get the late dog groomer something for Christmas! I got something small for my apartment manager, and acupuncturist. I know everyone you bought for will be so happy to get a little something as it shows they are remembered.

@Marilynda1225 You’re just sweet is what you are. If you are a frequent client, I totally understand giving her a present. I love love this time of year, and I will get anyone a present if I can. Honestly, the cost of a couple of the Christmas cards I am sending is equal or greater than the cost of the present I am giving my acupuncturist.

@AmbiePam Cards can be expensive and postage is crazy these days. Remember it's not the cost of the gift but the thought that counts

Guess I was just more annoyed than usual when the groomer was late the other day. She deserves a gift and will probably be back right before Christmas. This is my favorite time of year and I'm a Christas person to the max

Now that I have the habit to shop online, I find this so convenient. I am going to order something to Amazon Italy and have the packages sent directly to my niece's apartment. So much more convenient that to buy in store and ship to her.

Some are harder than others to choose a gift for.

I did the same when I got up this morning. But I was remembering that it was grocery shopping day.

I won't have to grocery shop this week since we're going to try to get through with what we have on hand

It's so nice that you buy these people small gifts but I can understand how hard it gets. I had the same problem with my parents. They really didn't need anything but there was no way I would miss giving them a gift. I'm sure you'll come up with something nice. Sometimes leafing through a catalogue can bring up ideas.

Happy December 1! I'd be lost without being able to shop online too. Our neighbor across the street always brings our dumpster back to the garage; so we always give her a gift card. Another gift card goes to our housekeeper (she always takes the trash out to the street). Hope you have a marvelous weekend.

I also need to buy something for my friends and my brother's maid. She helps me out once in a while. Checking out online shops is a good and effective way to find gifts.
