Last night I watched a documentary about the Temmoku bowl. It is to served the tea. The Temmoku bowls come from China and they made in Song Dynasty. The Japanese monks came to China to study at that time and they brought back these bowls, the art of tea etc. to Japan. There are several kinds of Temmoku bowls and the one from the attached image is the most precious. Right now there are only three of these the Temmoku in the world. There is no way to copy the Temmoku bowls today and this is very interesting. When I see the art of tea from Japan, I suddenly realized they really keep this tradition well. Our tea culture has changed a lot as we were occupied by other nations in ancient time. Try to imagine in Tang and Song Dynasty, how we served the tea is very different than today and this is really like a kind of art. Of course having the Temmoku bowls can really make a big difference

I remember that a Japanese delegation came to Monte Carlo and we assisted at the tea ceremony in the Japanese garden. It was something I really enjoyed.

@youless I do not like the taste of tea at all, but I enjoyed a lot the way the geisha prepared and served the tea.
