Monday Morning Brief and Sunday Update

Good morning from sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We'll have average temps for today in the low to mid-30s.
Yesterday was a good day. Church was good. Getting there was treacherous. I messaged a friend for a ride on Saturday, not realizing how bad the roads would be in the morning. It snowed during the night and most of the day. Going home was much better than leaving.
Last night was Sunday Night Football - Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers. It was the same scenario for the picks as it was for last night's game. It's like the announcers don't want to give us the benefit of doubt or hope of a win. Yet, like the Lions/Packers game on Thanksgiving, we won against the Chiefs. It was a very good game and I'm surprised I have a voice this morning. The Pack won 27-19. It was almost like a Super Bowl reunion as we beat the Chiefs in the first Super Bowl. It was a fantastic game. I'm only sorry so many of their players got hurt. You never want to see that happen.
Okay, so that brings me to today. I didn't go to bed until almost 11 last night, so I didn't get up until almost 5 for six hours of sleep, my usual. I got the laundry done this morning and did eight miles on the exercise bike in the community room during the exercise class.
For the rest of the day, I'll be watching Sammy, my friend from down the hall's dog. When she gets home, a friend on the third floor offered to take me to the bank. That makes me very happy since I need to get the money to pay for the car. I also need to get the brakes.
I will also work on Wilderness Challenge. A member here suggested I make a post about the books I have ready to publish and the ones I'm working on. It should make an interesting post.
Okay, I'm done with the notifications for now. Time to work on Wilderness Challenge. How's your day going? Thanks for reading. Will try to upload a picture.

I went to bed around 11:00 p.m. and woke up around 8:00 a.m. I keep my place relatively clean, so it never needs much more than a spot cleaning, and today, I did that with the original scent of Lysol concentrate disinfectant. A friend from the other side of the building hates it when I clean because she does not like the smell. I can't smell it, don't use it much anyway, and doubt she can smell it from five apartments and a community room away.

@just4him She claims she could smell it in her hallway as I walked past. I don't know. I can't smell it, and what she smelled might have come from a closer neighbor's place, anyway.

@Chellezhere It most likely did come from a closer neighbor. I know when I walk through the halls, I can sometimes smell the delicious aromas coming from within. Especially coffee early in the morning.

Sounds like a good Sunday minus the roads. Busy day there already....hope the rest goes well.
We did some Christmas shopping today, so guess it was productive. Also got 2 of our bills paid.

Yesterday I worked on my best friend's diamond painting. My mother lost her key fob again. I couldn't find it this time.

It appears that the photo problem is fixed for now. Glad the Packers won. The Browns lost. Hope you have a good rest of your afternoon and evening.

@just4him You're welcome. Joe Flacco, the quarterback, seems like he has promise. First time he's QBd for the Browns.

Slippery roads are what make me hate winter and snow. Glad you were able to travel safely.
I feel bad that you're having so much trouble with your car. I'm sure it's an expense you don't need.

Slippery roads make life interesting. You need to be extra careful. It in no way makes me reconsider my love of winter.
Thank you. This car is history. Whether it will be now, or in March will soon be seen.
