Purple Christmas Lights

That's the best pic I could possibly take. The front room only has light coming in from the kitchen and the window in the front door. So during the afternoon, it is lighter than in the morning. I took out my little Christmas tree and the manger and placed them on the top shelf of the cat tree. I then draped around the purple lights. That is our Christmas as you can see. I keep those purple lights on all December long. Freddie thought about all this a long time and finally jumped on the cat tree one shelf lower and sat there among the Christmas lights reminding me of the line in the movie “The Grinch” “Maybe Christmas (he thought) doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more.” Anyway, you had to be there and see the look on Freddie’s face and aren’t his eyes brilliant blue?

This is the second year that I have not had Christmas decorations and lights. Freddie is a well behaved cat.

@Marilynda1225 it's funny at times his eyes are blue and other times green, My previous cat Sid also had eye color changes and in one photo we had one eye blue and one green

I would think that the tree would be a huge temptation for a cat, especially on the cat tree! Have a good day.

@AmbiePam well that is out Christmas and the lights and the red star on the tree make things brighter, If you looks a bit closer at the photo you can see the manger in front of the tree, I am glad my cats accept it for what it is,

@snowy22315 now he has figured out that Mama put the lights up for a reason so he does not jump on the cat tree but sits nearby and watches the lights

@wolfgirl569 it works out very well for my decorations. That cat tree came into my life I mean I bought it when Freddie and Tish's mom started dropping litter after litter in my closet. She was a good friend of mine so while those kittens were hanging around I got the tree for their entertainment, Now all the previous have been adopted, the tree remained, and when the last two my Freddie and Tish came along they inherited the tree but rarely use it. Except now Freddie like to lie among the purple lights As from my previous inquiry concerning Tish the rotten darling is now lying on a small space next to the laptop and on top of some wires connecting keyboard and mouse and such to laptop so I hope she does not disconnect anything, Perhaps she will come with me when I get off line,
